HOPAC Modified Car Class Rules (2010 season)
1) Cars eligible to compete in the Modified class include the BSRT G3® platform of cars.
2)

The chassis must be stock and cannot be modified in any way except for the following:
   a) Add body mounts.
   b) The pickup tabs on the chassis may be reinforced and/or replaced.
   c) The chassis may be modified to retain the rear axle.

3) The armature magnets may be BSRT G3® Ceramic or BSRT G-Force™ Ceramic-Grade material and cannot be cut.
4) The traction magnets must be BSRT G-Force™ Polymer-Grade material and cannot be cut.
5) Any BSRT armature may be used but must be a minimum of 3.0 ohms. Motor bushings must be stock or BSRT stock replacement. BSRT ball bearings are allowed.
6) All electrical system parts must be stock or BSRT stock replacement. BSRT Helper Springs may be used.
7) The axles, gears, gear spacer (optional), guide pin, tires, and wheels must be stock or BSRT stock replacement. Gears may be lightened and axle spacers may be used to aid with gear mesh. Front and rear rims may be drilled or lightened.
8) Glues/adhesives are not allowed on the chassis except to attach the body mounting system and retain the guide pin.
9) Vacuum-formed bodies may be used provided they meet all General Rules.
