BSRT Announces New Line of Collectible G3 Formula Cars BSRT has officially announced the first four releases from their upcoming line of Collectible G3 Formula cars. This Series of limited-production cars will include sixteen different uniquely sponsored Formula-bodied G3 cars. There will only be 50 examples produced of each of the sixteen Formula G3 cars in this Series. We are now accepting pre-orders for the first four releases which will ship in January. Following the initial release of four cars, each succeeding month another four Formula releases in this Series will be offered for pre-sale until the complete Series of 16 have been released. Get your order in early since we expect these cars to sell-out quickly. The first four releases are pictured below. They include the #1 BSRT Formula Car (part #551), #2 Microsport Engineering Formula Car (part #552), #3 Rothwell Body Shells Formula Car (part #553), and #4 B.A.D. Design Works Formula Car (part #554). All cars in this Series are based on BSRT's #902 built-out chassis with unique licensed sponsorship, color-matched wheels, and car specific timing bracket. These cars will only be available for sale directly from Scale Auto. |

New BSRT Worked-up "High-Power" Tyco 440-X2 Armature BSRT is now offering a 3.5-ohm worked up "High-Power" armature for Tyco platform of cars including the 440 and 440-X2. This arm is much hotter (lower resistance) than the standard 6-ohm unit that comes in Tyco cars so be ready for a serious increase in speed. Every High-Power arm features a tied-off commutator, epoxied windings, diamond-trued comm, and precision balance on BSRT's state-of-the-art dynamic balancer. New Tomy AFX Mega-G Ford GT40 In Stock! Here's another excellent example you can add to Tomy's line of Ford GT40 Mk II replicas. This new Mega-G car release is a replica of the GT40 Graham Hill and Brian Muir shared at LeMans in 1966. Entered by Alan Mann Racing the car unfortunately was a DNF at LaSarthe that year. INJECTION-MOLDED G-JET SILICONE SLIP-ON REAR TIRES Using new injection-molding technology, BSRT has come up with a replacement for their Black G-Jet AST rear tires. These precision molded black silicone slip-on tires work in tandem with BSRT's #879 Double-Flanged Rims to form the new rear end tires for the G-Jet. These tires, and wheels, will also work with any of BSRT's G3 platform cars. When used with BSRT's #879 rims, they will give you a minimum rear tire diameter of .450". BSRT part #880 - $6.00 pair. Among them are the long awaited Le Mans protagonists, the Audi R10 and Peugeot 908 Coupe. These two cars will be the first new AFX bodies that take advantage of the smaller dimensions of the Mega-G chassis. | Tomy AFX Tri-Power
Pack with 3 Voltages Ever since Aurora stopped production of their two-screw transformer power pack decades ago, all AFX sets have been down on power. The most common complaint is that one car will speed up when the other car comes off. While the voltage rating was high, the problem was always a lack of amperage. That’s all been taken care of with their Tri-Power Pack. Of even more importance, there’s now three different voltages you can set the power pack to including 22 volts, 12 volts, and 8 volts. At all three voltages there’s a full 1-amp of power available just like Aurora's original two-screw transformers. With a standard Tomy terminal track plug attached to it, HO enthusiasts will now be able to switch between running magnet cars on 22-volts and BSRT’s extremely popular G-Jet on 12-volts. It’s as simple as flipping a switch. The new Tri-Power Pack is a very important new product for the entry level racing crowd. Tomy AFX part #8822P - $29.95. |
